Today’s Simple Pleasure: Being in Water

I love being in water: the shower, the bath, the sea, even the odd paddling pool when the children were young.  There is something about the sensation of water on your skin and when you are immersed, the joy of having a weightless body.

Yesterday I was very lucky to go to The Relaxation Centre in Clifton, Bristol, as a birthday treat.  It was heaven.  There were many pleasures and sensations to be had there but being in the jacuzzi s and plunge pool were the best for me.  One new and unexpected pleasure for me was trying out the plunge pool.  First you sit in the sauna for as long as you can stand (no more than half an hour on health grounds, the sign said) and then you step outside and plunge into a freezing cold pool of water.  This is followed by dipping into the warm, bubbling jacuzzi.

I wasn’t going to tackle the plunge pool, but what the heck, I decided to give it a go. It was absolutely freezing. But, once you get out you feel the benefits, your skin tingles in a very exciting fashion and then when you get into the hot jacuzzi the pleasant sensations continue.  And the joy of the hot jacuzzi bubbles after that is just wow!

Increasing pleasure in your life need not mean doing anything new but just becoming aware of the things that are already in your life.  Notice the water falling onto your skin in the shower.  How does it make you feel?  Is it the perfect ‘pleasure temperature’ for you?

Increasing your awareness of pleasure ups your quality of life, this is not just a fantastic daily improvement but also help to increase your vibrations which enables the Law of Attraction to do its thing. to
